The Mental Bar- Coffee, Tea & Wellness: Your Sanctuary for Flavor and Tranquility

Loved this place ! I can tell a lot of effort and intentionality was involved in the planning and execution. You can feel the sense of community and care the moment you arrive outside. While parking is along the street they have some spaces that are saved for quick trips in and out and you can easily find places along the curb elsewhere. I stopped in quickly for a coffee and breakfast sandwich on my way to run errands. I had the breakfast turkey sausage croissant sandwich with no cheese and an iced Mexican Mocha with oat milk both were delish and extra special sitting in the swing chair looking out at San Diego. There was even an outlet and way to charge my devices on the little table next to me. The drinks and food are made with care. The staff are attentive and you can tell the staff actually seem to get along and like one another. That always leads to great service! I’ll probably be back tomorrow and definitely have it bookmarked to visit again when I’m in town next month. I’m new to the neighborhood and stopped by for the first time. Stellar service and I’m so impressed with the flavor of the drip coffee. I loved the ambience as well. I do wish they’d had more options for beans to purchase, but it’s a Monday morning so I know they may be short from the busy weekend. I’m looking forward to going back and trying one of their specialty drinks!

Talk about Wholesome ! This is perfect place for your cafe needs with true connection to culture. Here are some must tries. The coffee cake I personally enjoy the sunbeam tea (with CBD) and the Mexican hot cocoa. Here are some photos of my multiple visits lol. So there is a two seated lounge swing near the window and this was enough for me to give 5 stars for atmosphere lol. But they also get extra credit for having an outdoor seating area. This is a perfect place to have meetings, do Homework or an event centered around art and good vibes

I absolutely love The Mental Bar! Their matcha drinks are incredible—creamy, perfectly balanced, and always hit the spot. Cozy vibe, great staff, and a must-visit if you’re a matcha lover like me!

This is a spectacular coffee/eatery location. Although I reside in the south bay region of San Diego this have become my favorite location to frequent for a cup of coffee, meal, and mello vibes. The atmosphere is a sense of community, sharing, and enrichment. This location hosts many community activities which I find so encouraging and empowering. The staff is professional, friendly, and very helpful. The interior/exterior is Kempt. -For me It's a great opportunity to contribute to a small business and help to make this location thrive in order for them to continue their contributions to the community...

So happy my daughter and I stopped by to support this amazing coffee & tea bar. Let’s start with the ambiance, this place offers a relaxing atmosphere, the quality of their drinks and food was outstanding. The decor was very aesthetically pleasing, and the most important part their Customer Service was unforgettable.

Ugh! Coffee is sooo goood! I got the iced latte with whole milk and told them to add simple sugar as the sweetener and delicious! The lox bagel so bomb too. Love the ambiance and the staff is so friendly. I'll definitely come back!

Great new coffee cafe located in encanto across the street from the trolley stop. Reasonable prices. Cute, calming ambience. Clean, well kept cafe. We tried the vanilla and brown sugar latte both iced plus watermelon lemonade. They come in 2 sizes however the only difference is the sizes is extra liquid not espresso shots. Both sizes come with 2 espresso shots, a little disappointing because why would I pay a dollar for extra milk. Great customer service. Street parking only. Reasonable prices
